Course description

本課程係專為醫學系及中醫系學生所設計的，主要目標在於幫忙醫學生在進入臨床之前先建立、瞭解及統合藥理學之基本概念與架構。本課程將涉及化學、解剖、生化、分子生物、生理、微生物與病理之整合教學工作，以其讓學生瞭解「為什麼」、「何時」及「如何」利用各種不同的藥物來治療疾病。同時配合藥理實驗課程，加深同學對藥物之特殊作用機轉及生理功能之印象。另外，介紹副作用與毒性反應等應注意的相關觀念。課程內容及負責教師簡述如下：（一）藥理學概論及周邊神經藥物（楊春茂）。（二）中樞神經藥物（陳景宗）。（三）心臟血管藥物（馬蘊華）。（四）荷爾蒙藥物及毒物學（周美智）及（五）抗生素及抗癌藥物（吳宗圃）。

Course description
|
The course, “Medical pharmacology” is designed for the requirement of medical students. The main objectives are to establish, understand, and integrate the basic concepts and therapies for clinical applications. This course is focus to integrate the relationship among chemistry, anatomy, biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology, and pathology. To the students, pharmacological mechanisms will allow them to be able to know “when”, “where”, and “what” to apply these informations in the practice of medicine. This course also accompanies with laboratory experiments to understand the actions of drugs and their physiological effects. In addition, side effects and toxicities of drugs are emphasized to prevent the intoxication in clinics. The fields of this course will cover：
1.Principles of pharmacology and autonomic pharmacology.
2.CNS drugs.
3.Cardiovascular drugs.
4.Hormones and toxicology.
5.Antibiotic and anti-cancer drugs.
