中文課程簡介：
本課程為呼吸照護學系二年級學生所必修之科目，教學的目標為引導學生瞭解藥理學的基本原理、各類藥物的分類及其在體內的作用機制，以期學生將來在從事臨床工作或相關研究時能對接觸到的藥物有基本的認識。本課程由本校藥理相關師資集體授課，課程內容包括藥物作用原則，涵蓋藥物在體內的吸收、分佈與代謝，並分述周邊神經藥理、中樞神經藥理、心血管疾病藥物、固醇類及非固醇類抗發炎藥、腸胃及內分泌相關用藥、抗生素與抗癌藥物等的藥理機轉。於教學中先淺介藥物作用相關的基礎生理及生化，而藥物部份將注重其（一）藥理機制、（二）副作用與毒性反應和（三）藥物間的交互作用。此課程並與藥理學實驗課題搭配授課，使學生在實際操作或電腦模擬過程中印證所學，並藉由分組討論以促進同儕學習。有關教材及學習評量安排如下：

二‧參考書：Respiratory Care Pharmacology, JL Rau, Jr., 8th edition, 2012 (國家考試指定用書)
三‧上課講義：由各老師自行編列
四‧學習評量：正課學期總成績=四次考試平均（75%）+ 個人書面報告（20%）+平時成績（5%；包含出缺席及隨堂小考成績）
英文課程簡介：
Pharmacology for the undergraduate students specialized in Respiratory Care is designed to provide the basic knowledge of drug-body interaction and therapeutic application on particular diseases, from both basic and clinical aspects. The major categories in this course include drugs for peripheral/central nervous system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, endocrine system and antibiotics and anti-cancer drugs etc. Respiratory care-related drugs in each category will be emphasized. In each category, following topics will be the focus: site of action, mechanism of therapeutic effect, drug metabolism, side effect, drug-drug interaction, and clinical application. The teaching materials will be from both assigned textbooks and updated literatures. The lecture will be supported by Pharmacology Laboratory (one credit) to facilitate understanding of the drug effect via hands-on operation and computer simulation.

藥理學實驗乃為配合藥理學課程所設計，為加深同學對特定藥物之藥理或毒理作用及機轉的瞭解，藉由不同的給藥途徑，觀察在體內或離體組織中藥物的作用，探究其作用機轉，並討論藥理學之研究方法，以補充藥理課程之教學。實驗課中以五人為一組，按照參與教師所編寫之實驗講義內容操作實驗，並提供討論平臺，於每單元以小組為單位繳交實驗報告，並以小組為單位發表一次口頭專題報告，以鼓勵同儕學習。學習評量： 實驗學期總成績=實驗報告（30%）+平時成績（10%）+期末筆試（30%）+小組書報討論（30%）

英文課程簡介：The Pharmacology Laboratory (one credit) was designed to facilitate understanding of drug effects via hands-on operation and computer simulation. Students will be divided into 5 per group. The experiments selected for the lab contain animal experiment (analgesic test, toxicity test, sedative-hypnotic, anesthetic test, and cardiovascular test), organ bath experiment (vascular drug evaluation) and computer-assisted simulation (all areas). Group-based in-class discussion will be encouraged and group-based written reports will be required after each laboratory section for evaluation. .
